Hi, my name is Jonathan Mitchell. I'm from a small town located in West Virginia, and hope to soon be teaching chemistry in a high school setting. My grandmother taught middle school science, and I guess you could say I'm following in her footsteps. Taking chemistry in high school led me to become fascinated with the subject. I soon decided that I would enjoy teaching it. I believe all students learn differently, and need to be taught at their own level. When teaching chemistry, repetition is a necessity; however, that does not mean it cannot be fun at the same time. Students not only need to be engaged learning formulas and equations, but also countless terms and vocabulary. This is foundations for any chemistry education. I'd leave you with a good chemistry pun here, but all the good ones argon.

Great image! Looking forward to working with you this semester!
